Pro adds all four exports (.mid, .wav, .pdf and .ccsong), Rich and Complex voicings, custom chords and feels, MIDI and Ripchord import, and USB-C, Ableton Link, network and Bluetooth MIDI. Pro is USD 5.99 a month or 39.99 a year (both start with a 7-day free trial where offered), or 79.99 once for Lifetime. Full details are in the Terms of Use.

Subscriptions are managed by Apple: iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → ChordCodex. Cancelling there stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the current period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Refunds are handled by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Purchases belong to your Apple ID, not to the device. Sign in with the Apple ID that bought Pro and use Restore Purchases in ChordCodex. If it still doesn't unlock, send us the receipt from Apple with the form below.

Tap share and pick a format. .mid puts chords, drums and bass on separate tracks with the tempo in the header, and opens in Logic Pro, Ableton Live, FL Studio, GarageBand, Pro Tools, Cubase, Studio One, Reaper, Bitwig, AUM and Drambo. .wav is a 24-bit stereo bounce; .pdf is a chord chart in chords or Nashville numbers.

Send them by AirDrop, Messages, Mail or Files. To keep working on the song on another device, share the .ccsong.

Yes. In Jam, the chord pads are velocity-sensitive. Connect the iPhone or iPad to a Mac with a USB-C cable and ChordCodex shows up as a MIDI instrument in any DAW. Ableton Link, network and Bluetooth MIDI are in Pro.

On your device, and in your own iCloud account if you turn iCloud on. We can't read either. Deleting the app removes its local data, so share or export anything you want to keep first.

Chords Live imports ChordCodex songs, so you can write in ChordCodex and play the chords from a foot pedal on stage.
