Privacy Policy

Section 1

Your songs

• Your songs stay on your device. Songs, set lists, mixer settings and MIDI mappings are saved in the app on your iPad or iPhone, and are included in your normal device backup, which you control in iOS Settings.
• We never receive them. Chords Live has no server. A song leaves your device only when you share it yourself, through AirDrop, Messages or Files.

Section 2

MIDI and Bluetooth

Chords Live receives MIDI from the pedals, keyboards and controllers you connect by USB or Bluetooth, and can send MIDI to other apps and devices you choose. Those messages are musical control data and contain no personal information. Bluetooth is used only to connect MIDI pedals, keyboards and controllers.

Section 3

What we collect

Nothing. No analytics, no crash reporter, no advertising, no in-app purchases, no email capture. The app may ask, through Apple's standard prompt, whether you'd like to rate it; Apple handles that and tells us nothing about you.

Section 4

Instruments you add

AUv3 instruments you install from the App Store and load in Chords Live are made by their own developers and are covered by their privacy policies, not this one.

Section 5

What we do NOT do

• No advertising. Chords Live shows no ads.
• No tracking or data brokers. We do not track you across apps or sell data, and do not build a profile linked to your identity.

Section 6

Third parties

• Apple — app distribution and payment, if the app is purchased (see Apple's privacy policy).

Section 7

Children

Chords Live is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone.
